Page 5 are a Proactive IT managed service client with Integer. They wanted to migrate to Microsoft Office 365, decommission a soon-to-be no-longer-supported Microsoft Small Business Server, and move their entire head office and employees from Lake Road to Hastings River Drive within Port Macquarie.
Integer opted to migrate Page 5 to Office 365 prior to the physical office move to provide business continuity throughout the process. We consolidated Page 5’s existing mailboxes and upgraded SBS to provide a seamless migration from on-premise Exchange to Microsoft Office 365 Business Essentials.
We surveyed the proposed new site – which was vacant at the time – identifying existing cabling infrastructure, cabinets, desk layouts and data circuit connectivity to be inherited from the previous occupant.
The physical relocation was scheduled at 12 noon during a week day rather than outside business hours. Our server engineering team shut down the server and powered down the UPS, switches, Sophos firewall, and storage devices. They immediately attended the new site to re install all server-based equipment into a new rack cabinet. Page 5 employees moved their own desktops and monitors and our engineers patched them into the new infrastructure.
Page 5’s data and server infrastructure were up and running by 3pm on the same day, and during the move email flowed to all mobile devices. Integer IT then decommissioned the SBS server a few weeks later.
Page 5 have adopted a hybrid approach to cloud computing for specific application delivery. Moving from on-premise Exchange mailboxes to cloud-based Microsoft Office 365 provides many benefits associated with an agile workforce, but also frees up physical resources used within the on-premise IT server. These resources (processors, ram and disk space) have then been redeployed, which in turn has resulted in on-premise applications benefiting from a speed boost without incurring new hardware costs.
Embracing technology in this way provides many efficiencies and greatly enhances Page 5’s ability to deliver their service.

Integer made our migration to Microsoft Office 365 and our office move so easy!
The key was the preparation and planning stage which was meticulous. Moves such as this are always daunting but we were given step by step guides so we knew exactly what would happen and when. The moves were then seamless with minimum downtime allowing us to continue to run our business without any disruption to our customers or staff. Integer took great care with our business. I was absolutely amazed at how efficient the team were at getting our whole system, server and IT solutions physically relocated and back up and running at the new premises within 3 hours.
I trust them implicitly and recommend them highly, so much so that we have recently signed up to have our telephone system transferred to Integer to support.
Garry at Integer IT :
I am delighted Page 5 are pleased with our efforts and the delivered outcome. They have adopted a hybrid Cloud approach which assesses and prioritises which applications are critical and best suited for delivery of applications either via on premise infrastructure or cloud-based resources. We took time to understand this and through careful planning our team was able to deliver a software migration and physical relocation as smoothly as possible within business hours.
