Diverse Project Delivery Q1

 In Integer IT News

Since the start the new Financial Year Integer have been busy delivering multiple and yet diverse IT projects enabling our clients to make strategic changes to their businesses in preparation for the years ahead.

Below are some project highlights of what we have been up to during Q1.

  • Sophos Firewalls and Netgear Switching upgrade for a major transport business in Port Macquarie with 5 locations between Sydney and Brisbane. We also moved them from onsite 3CX telephony to the cloud hosted version.
  • Major data cabling and fibre upgrade and installation of 138 x Wireless Access Points for a resident care facility in Wauchope.
  • Desktop support and on boarding for a large Not for Profit Organisation with offices in Taree and 4 other sites in across the Mid North Coast with over 150 employees.
  • Several 3CX hosted telephony migrations from on premises PBXs in Port Macquarie, for an accountancy, medical business and not for profit organisation. Others include a club in North Haven, a manufacturing business in Wauchope and recycling centre in Kempsey.
  • New physical server and data rack installations for large service business with offices in Taree and Port Macquarie and another for a manufacturing company in Wauchope.
  • Multiple installations of NBN Fibre Enterprise Ethernet and copper TC4 data connections, enhancing the connectivity and resilience for clients in Kempsey, Wauchope, Port Macquarie, and Taree.
  • Data cabling/WIFI projects for a local church and golf club with gaming facilities

Some of our Q2 committed projects include:

  • 3 x Physical Server migration projects to Microsoft Azure and SharePoint for Not-for-Profit organizations in Kempsey and Port Macquarie. These are mainly driven by the demise of Microsoft Server 2012 security patching and support in October 2023 as well as clients sweating their assets readying themselves for this step change in the way they will support their employees and clients.
  • 3CX Hosted Telephony projects, Taree (NFP), Wauchope (Community services) and Port Macquarie (Medical).
  • 2 new client firewall installations in the finance and manufacturing industries.

We have also continued to put time and effort into training our employees to successfully support our project installation work and our team is steadily growing in numbers, qualifications, and experience. The daily functions of the Helpdesk, workshop and general onsite requirements keep us all on our toes as we currently manage 112 Servers and over 1400 desktops/notebooks under service agreements as well as a growing number of 3CX hosted environments.
